I ran a full 26.2 mile marathon a few weeks ago in 3:32.10.    My half-marathon split was 1:46.06. I was legitimately the youngest guy in the race, the only 19 year old. Took 23rd out of 296. It was amazing.

I have a suggestion. Should the host signups start before the current game is over, so that way as soon as the current game's post game is made the next game's player sign ups could start?

Yes, I think this would be acceptable and would help speed along the process if everyone(or the majority) agrees upon it.

I'll look over whatever you need me to. PM me if you need me.

Well from what I can tell winter went through most of the arrangements and gave feedback, so I've comprised a list of currently accepted sheets(as deemed by Winter in each person's original post):

[GB] Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow - "Gym Leader Battle" - Bespinben (Replacement) Mus Mid Pdf
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Winter)
[GBA/DS] Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue/Red Rescue Team - "Rescue Team Base" - Bespinben Mus Mid Pdf
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Winter)
[GBA/DS] Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue/Red Rescue Team - "Monster House" - Bespinben Mus Mid Pdf
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Winter)
[GBA/DS] Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue/Red Rescue Team - "Parting" - Bespinben Mus Mid Pdf
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Winter)
[NDS] Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - "Final Battle (Duet)" - Joel Hands-Otte [ZIP]
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Winter)
[NDS] Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky - "Heartwarming" - Joel Hands-Otte [ZIP]
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Deku)
[NDS] Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - "Team Charm's Theme" - Joel Hands-Otte [ZIP]
Status: Needs Second Approval (Approved by Deku)

However, the other 50% of arrangements before submissions closed seem to be either unchecked or checked but not officially accepted. So if anyone wants to help by taking a look at some of those(any post that doesn't have Winter's "OK" beneath the arrangement) then that'd be great, and meanwhile I will contact dekudude or winter or someone who remembers the current updating procedures, because MAN has it been a while since I've done any updating.

More to come.

Soo, if everyone's busy with irl stuff then I can totally get this update done. Only issue is, I've played maybe one or two of the games with sheets posted in this thread, so my ability to pinpoint accuracy is at about 3% what it normally would be. If anyone can take a look at which sheets are acceptable then I would gladly do the uploading the get this update underway and finished.

Consolidation is good, but don't give the impression that you're trying to flip it around so that the two of you can start dating. Beware the friend zone.

Pokemon bias.

BIAS I SAY. Oh well, there's always next game. I don't mind waiting a game. It'll give me a chance to refine my game a bit more so there aren't any potential loopholes.

There are two things I want to say about this:

1. I feel like the point of this game really doesn't work out once the wolves manage to wolf the Alchemist or Psychologist during Night 1, or if the humans manage to lynch the Madd Doctor or Evil Minion during day one. In both cases, one of the teams won't have a way to use potions, which creates a great disadvantage.

I think I might be able to solve this by allowing every player to now make potions instead, and changing the role of Madd Doctor/Psychologist to instead have the ability to use any of the potions available on his/her team. The MD/Psychologist will get a pm at the end of the phase stating which potions are available.

Also I lowered the number of ingredients per bundle for humans from three to two.

Quote
2. If the wolves manage to kill the Valiant Knight, the Horrid Lab Monster becomes pretty much invincible, and will almost ensure the wolves to win.

This is where the protection potions come in handy. If the valiant night dies, you're herbalist is forced to steal a poison potion so you can give it to the horrid lab monster instead. OR the Alchemist must make one. There will likely be enough potions going around to keep one or the other alive.

Edit* I changed the role of the Alchemist to have the ability to make potions from the opposite team. I.e. the alchemist can make poison/disguise/etc potions. Likewise, the Evil Minion can also make green team potions. Neither role can make The Black Drink/The White Nectar. They are team exclusive potions.

So here is my idea, as conceptualized this morning:

The Madd Doctor of Nakylvania

12 Players

5 humans-Gather ingredients each night. Each player recieves a random bundle of ingredients the per day. The ingredients in each bundle are decided by a random roll(random.org): Picking 2 numbers out of numbers 1-12(each number represents one of twelve ingredients). Each bundle contains two ingredients.

Reds:
1 Madd Doctor-Can use any potion available on team. Seer'd Green.
1 Evil Minion-Ability to make potions from the blue team, but CANNOT make The White Nectar. Steals 4 ingredients from 4 random and separate players at night.
1 Horrid Lab Monster- Cannot be lynched. Ability to attempt to steal 1 blue/green potions per night.

Blues:
1 Psychologist- Ability to seer once per night. Can use any potion available on team.
1 Herbalist-Uses ability during the night to gather a random rare bundle of ingredients. Rare ingredients include: Witch's Hair, Troll Toes, Nightshade, and Wormwood. Each rare bundle contains 2 rare ingredients. Also the ability to attempt to steal 1 red potion per night.
1 Alchemist-Ability to make potions from the Red team, but CANNOT make The Black Drink.
1 Valiant Knight- Ability to guard once per night. Also can attempt a Vigi, but the vigi will only work if targeted player is the Horrid Lab Monster.

Potions: 5(Red Team)

1. Protection-Stops one lynching on a specific player.(Must be used the night BEFORE the lynching.)
2. Disguise-Changes red to green for one day/night cycle
3. Poison-kills a player by the beginning of the next night phase.
4. Truth syrum-Reveals the true role of a player.
5. The Black Drink- ?

5(Blue Team)

1. Protection-stops one wolfing on a specific player.(Can be used the same night as the wolfing)
2. Antidote-Prevents death from a poison if used before the next night phase.
3. Recharge-Ends all potion cool downs
4. Revive-Brings a player back from the dead.
5. The White Nectar- ?

Ingredients: Cloves, Garlic, Troll Toes, Witch's Hair, Basil, Chamomile, Nightshade, Fennel, Nettle, Sage, Thyme, Wormwood

Ingredients by Potion:
Protection- 1 Troll toe, 2 Cloves, 1 Chamomile
Disguise- 2 Witches Hairs, 1 Fennel, 1 Wormwood
Poison- 4 Nightshade, 1 Witch's Hair
Truth Syrum- 1 Clove, 1 Nettle, 2 Sage
The Black Drink- 3 Witch's Hair, 3 Wormwood, 3 Nightshade

Protection- 1 Troll toe, 2 Cloves, 1 Chamomile
Antidote- 2 Cloves, 2 Chamomile
Recharge- 1 Troll Toe, 2 Basil, 1 Thyme
Revive- 1 Witch's Hair, 1 Garlic, 2 Wormwood
The White Nectar- 3 Witch's Hair, 3 Chamomile, 3 Wormwood

Here's how Potions are made: Players who wish to make a potion must send their ingredients to the host by sending the host a PM DURING THE DAY, while stating what potion(s) they want to be made. The potion will then be sent directly back to the player at the start of the NIGHT phase.

Potions CAN be traded. This is done so by sending a PM to the host stating who you want to send the Potion to. If a player dies, all of the potions in his/her possession are LOST. However, the Madd Doctor/Psychologist have access to every potion available on their team. They will receive a PM from the host at the beginning of each Night phase stating which potions are available for use(not who has each potion, though).

All Potions are made at the end of the Day phase, and distributed to their teams accordingly at the start of the Night phase.

Each type of potion can be used once per NIGHT phase by any player, but the potion doesn't go into effect until the end of that phase. Potions last for one Day/Night cycle.

Each potion has a full Day/Night/Day Phase Cooldown. I.e. If a protection potion is used during Night 2, then this team cannot use another Protection potion until Day 3.

I WILL KEEP an up to date tally of who has how many of each ingredient/potion. THIS is the reason for sending all of your ingredient/potion PMs to me first, because this game wouldn't necessarily work if I didn't have a list of where the ingredients and potions are on the 'game table.' The players of course will not know this tally, it is for host purposes only.

ALSO, each attempt to steal potions/ingredients is based off a random roll; where I roll a number 1-10, if it's below 5 then the attempt FAILS. If it's 5 and above then the attempt is a SUCCESS. All rolls are done on random.org.

Ingredients are distributed at the start of Day 1.

As you can see, this is a very interactive game that requires a lot of PM communication and teamwork to choose which potions to use and when. Not to mention all of the other typical TWG elements. So activity is absolutely essential.

There's probably much more tweaking to be done, but this is the general idea. I'll finish more modification when I get some feedback on the idea.

Yeah, but neither am I. I have no desire for any fight or debate either, but I would rather see a "No dumbdumb, you're wrong and this is why." Rather than "I somewhat agree, but whatever." sort of thing. That's all. It makes discussion more interesting(and better) when emotions are riled up a bit, given that boundaries and people in the discussion are respected.

Also you make some pretty good points, I guess.

Nah say what you really think. Re-reading my own posts; I'm always full of self-ridicule. I encourage the notion of speaking harsh truths, rather than retaining thoughts and feelings because you don't want to come off as mean.

Falling /out/ of love is difficult.
After we broke up, I made myself stop liking the way she acted, and now I'm making excuses so I don't have to see her eyes...

She complains that she doesn't like them.
Brown seems boring to her I guess?, and also she got them from her mom, who she doesn't really like.

Her dark, hazel eyes that seem to shine in the light; I...

blaaaah. Go away. I usually walk by her Spanish class to get to AP Stat, started taking a different path cuz "It's shorter."
The path is slightly shorter, but that wasn't really the main reason.  :(

Repression is an unhealthy thing. Repressing feelings as a sort of defense mechanism is what that sounds like. Accepting that you're really all out attracted to her is the first step to true self-healing. It's easier to carry good feelings for someone you can't have, rather than hatred. It's also easier to move on if those feelings are positive.

It's not spam, I had sound reason to post it again. On other forums that I frequent, it's customary to repost something if it was  of some sort of significance and fell to the bottom of the previous page. That way the content of the post wouldn't be skipped over by someone that was too lazy to look back a page.

The post was meant to address how you said she treated you, and how you felt. So I was just going off of what I saw. There's much more to my situation just as well, but that's the best I could do making it relevant to your situation.

You re-posting my quote directly under my quote is more qualified to be spam, however.
And saying "I'm not in love with her anymore, but when I was..." Makes it sound even less like love than I originally thought. If the feelings are deep enough, they stay there even if you end up hating the person in the end. Part of you still feels those deep feelings. Thus, the Blues genre was born!

But I mean you're talking about your own situation so it's a different circumstance with different conditions, etc.

Re-post for new page:

Sorry, but it sounds like you don't know what love is, and I think I might have an idea why that might be. Once upon a time there was a girl on my baseball team when we were in 2nd grade. I instantly fell for her ways, looks, mannerisms; everything. Yet, we went to different schools so once baseball season ended, so did contact.

Then came middle school, when both schools merged when entering 6th grade. Upon the summer of 7th grade year, I was on a camping trip with family and friends, and this girl happened to be going with one of the families that were camping with us(as in we all would rent out the same few campsites next to each other). So typical middle school magic went down and we started dating. Then, about a week later, typical Middle-School Girl Syndrome(oh yes) kicked in, and she broke it off for the next guy-thing in line. You can only imagine my frustration at her dim-wittedness, and lack of consideration, "but oh, she's young, so maybe youth is the reason to excuse her" I thought. So let's get to high school.

The rest of this story is a little complicated, but essentially, we had on and off 'things' throughout the next few years, but the end result was always the same: she'd one day suddenly be interested in another guy(typically older) and would act as if there had never been anything between us.

SO senior year comes around, and she's already dating one guy who's she had been with for over a year, but in the beginning of the year we start to become really close. Closer than ever, and we sort of develop this deep bond/connection thing. I couldn't ever have been more sure of the feeling of "love" until now. There was absolutely no way that things could go downhill from here, I thought, based off of words and special moments that we had shared. I'm sure you can tell where this is going, and long story short, the whole thing crashed and burned; her lying and sneaking around caused her relationship to crash(even though she was aware of it, and somewhat planned for it to turn out that way(hence the reason for me in the first place), and she at the same time spun more lies and manipulation towards me to help her get through the breakup phase. Once she was out of that phase and realized she was now single and "free," she absolved from the situation entirely, leaving an ice cold shoulder for me, acting as though she never talked to me and nothing had ever happened to begin with. That's when I learned she had channeled her flirtyness and secrecy to a new guy. And the cycle continued(for him, anyways).

In the end, some girls are just SNAKES. If she has no consideration for your feelings now, don't stick around for her, because chances are she will always leave you out in the dust for whatever captures her greater interest at the time. Even if you don't think you could live without her and are sure that you can accept her for her flaws and shortcoming no matter what etc, if she doesn't treat you well in the end, then is that something you really want? You should focus on a girl that you can build a respectable trust with, with some sort of reliability. At least that's what I realized I wanted after that whole situation, and it caused me to re-evaluate myself and my entire perception of love, and I came to great epiphanies about my self towards the end of the year, but at the price of great pain.

So don't go all out for just one girl because you think it's real love. Find someone who will always meet you half way in the end. There's greater strength in trust than passion.

Wrong. Sorry to sound like a stereotypical teenager but if what I felt wasn't being in love then I don't know what is.
