I'm choosing this kind of thing based entirely on arrangements. I don't stray much from the top half of the forum, so that's probably why I don't know all of these things about Brassman. I don't talk much on the forums, either. I have about 200 posts. Whether or not someone gets arrangements on the site doesn't depend at all on how they act in the community. If the arrangements are good, they go up. If the person's arrangements are consistently good, then I may feel inclined to add more from them. I'm not paid to do this job. I'm hardly even thanked.  So I do it how I want. That may seem selfish and self-centered, but if you want me to stop, give me a salary and I'll do this job how YOU want me to do it. Like I said, this was only the first of this kind of update. Maybe I'll try to do a monthly featured arranger. Maybe I won't ever do this again because of the reaction I've gotten from some people. My advice is not to worry about it and just keep doing what you do. I don't want to make enemies or tear this forum apart. I just want to help update the site. Clear. I shut up now. |

Hey, in my opinion, you really shouldnt stop this thing. Its a new and good system, and i love it. You are right. You arent payed to do this stuff, so do it just like you want This is a great thing to do, because we can start to meet and know determinated arrangers, and how is his work. You have my positive vote. I could be the last one to be selected here, or even couldnt selected, cuz I dont have no worrys. I just want to see everybody happy  |

I think it's a good idea too. There are a lot of peolple that have tons of great arrangements, for example ganondorf has a crapload of Zelda arrangements.

I think some people are making too big of a deal regarding the order songs are uploaded to the site. As long as everybody's songs eventually get on NSM, it's really not a cause for worry or complain.
And the special update can hardly be considered favoritism, when Composer#40's submission thread post was literally at the character maximum.
Short version: beggars can't be choosers, dont' whine.

I found your argument compelling until the misplaced apostrophe in the last sentence.
Disappointing, padawan.
But my basic argument is this: Ninte did Commander's bonus update in his spare time. He didn't scrap the normal update in favor of Commander's update, he took more time out of his day to get it done. He's getting more sheets on the site without compromising attention to others. In a utilitarian sense, the better result occurred from having the bonus update versus not having the bonus update (more sheets on the site, no one has attention compromised) so it's the better path.
